Small Basic is a text based Programming language that was created by Microsoft that we use in school.
To access the program in school, go to the Start Menu > All Programs > Computer Programming and select "programming VM Virtual Machine".
This will open a new window with a 'virtual machine' that allows you to create programs and save them.
When this window opens, select Start > All Programs > Small Basic and select Microsoft Small Basic.
When you are ready to save, click "Save" on the toolbar and scroll down until you see E:VirtualBoxFiles and save your program with a sensible name.
To open your program in the future, you need to re-open the Virtual machine first and Small Basic and open it through the program - if you don't, it will try and open Scratch and won't work!
